cross reference an old bearing number

I have an old combine that I need to get a couple bearing for. I have the parts manual with the original part number, but need to cross reference to modern number. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Enter the part number in your search engine and you should get returns on outfits selling the bearing. I usually take the number off the bearing and search locateballbearings.com.

As far as bearings or even oil/grease seals, call a larger company and they should give you a cross-reference. Or, take a micrometer and measure it and tell them your measurements.

I worked the counter quite a while ago at Wisconsin Bearing, back when that was still their name. Now theyre called Motion Industries but they shouldnt have any problem crossing it for you and likely have it sitting on the shelf.

Says youre in Janesville so theyre across from Target. And grab a chocolate malt from Culvers for me while youre there!

all you really need is the old brg. and they can measure and hand you the new brg. no need to waste your time hunting part numbers.
