im looking at a 1750gas serial 218, 69 model. owner says several years ago was driving down the road and it just stopped going. says motor runs great, its been siting for about 9 years, tires are good, three up, 18.4 38 radials, deep tred, tires very good. could it be top shaft in the transmission. it looks kinda rough but has potential . im wondering what this unit could be worth, any ideas and thanks much for your interest
 
Any chance the coupler chain failed which is directly behind the hydra power or over under hydraul shift depending on what it has.
 
that's the one thing I forgot to check , the man was elderly but I think he was very sincere on his presentation of the tractor it also had 1850 some hours on the tack , but he and I know it had more than that, but drawbar and three point seemed very little ware. had an rear axel seal that had leaked.
