Why do I need a 1750 pressure plate on the 310 for my 1655?

Here think about this. Your 1655 is 70 Horse power. Clutches are rated in pound feet of torque. When you go to a 310 you are probably going to be say at 75-76 horse power with an increase in torque output that the cutch needs to transmit to the power train. A 1750 clutch will handle that torque. Your 1655 clutch may not because Oliver had to increase the torque capacity of the very early 1750 button clutches as they would slip. Have you thought this whole project out?

I assumed he was trying to to go to a turbo 310. Did I miss something in all his posts?
