Recently picked up a pair of Coop's. One is Cockschot build......Buda 6 cylinder engine ???? The other has Chrysler Industrial flathead 6 . Anyone have any links to more info on these?? Serial No on one with Chrysler 6 is 99878.......and model 3*177 ???

Any help appreciated.....Yrs built by "which manufacturer ".....Power....Nebraska rating ??

The Cockshutt built with the Buda will be either a model 40 or 50. The model and serial number will be stamped in the top of the frame on the left side. Start there the Co-Op could be a model 3.

Cockshutt tractors came out in 1946 with the 30. They were also sold as COOP E3, Ward's Farmcrest 30 and CCIL in Canada. The 40/50 came out in 1950 I think. Previous COOPs were Farmer's Union. Earlier Cockshutts were rebadged Olivers.

The tractor with the Chrysler motor should be a pre WW11 model, the 177 would be the 177th one assembled.I dont know how many were made before WW11,but thery were built again after that in 1948,49,50. I could be wrong on those dates but its close
