Cockshutt 540 Oil Restrictor

I am looking for more help with the 540. I pulled the oil filter this evening and was surprised that I didn't find a tube in the center of the filter mount that would stick into the filter. According to the AGCO parts book there should be a tube and the part number it T11595. Does anyone know where I can get one of these tubes?

Salvage yard or, Agco dealer. I bought one a couple years ago at the Agco dealer for my 60 Oliver. It came as a kit with the tube and orfice.

Since neither Continental nor Waukesha made those filter bases I wonder if the same stem and disk fit both filter bases.

I made one from a piece of 1/4 copper nickel brake line, I pinched the end down to create an orifice and used Loctite to secure it. We will see how it works.
