1550 hydraulics

I don't know if I will ever catch up to the issues with this tractor! After a complete fuel injection rebuild (which it needed) we also ended up having the head redone along with rings and bearings. So it
actually runs pretty good. Still maybe a little timing issue. So after all that today I hooked up to the tedder which uses a single hydraulic line (going to 2 cylinders) that lift the outside baskets for
transport. They gravity down and are not very heavy. Bottom line is the tractor wont lift them. I used it last year on the haybine and it lifted it just fine. I only have the 2 implements that have hydraulic
needs. I had the JD tractor on the tedder last week and it worked just fine. This Oliver has about 6000 hours and I'm sure was used hard by it's previous owner(s). I'm sure the hydraulics need significant
attention. Is there anything that I can easily adjust that might get this thing moving in the short term? I really would like to use it to finish hay this year and maybe can tackle the hydraulics over the
winter.

Do you have an OP manual? It will explain how to set up the remotes for single or double acting. You need single for the tedder. If it's set up right and still doesn't work check the pressure. It should be 2100 psi but probably will be OK for what you need if it's 1600 or more. Mine was 500 when I got it and the 3 point would only lift sometimes and the power steering was jerky. Email me with any further questions. I went completely through my hydraulics and discovered a few things.;
