Looking at a Deutz-Allis 9150 which is a Frankenstein combination of an Oliver drivetrain, White cab, and Deutz air cooled engine.
Should there be oil on the over/under dipstick when it's not running and sitting pointed downhill? Or is it like a vintage automatic transmission where it needs to be running (and in gear IIRC) to get an accurate dipstick reading?
If I get stuck with the thing, I'll get a manual.
