I need a 4-80-17 lesson

I need an operators manual, but in the mean time maybe someone can explain to me the pedals. On the left side there is a stop welded under the brake levers to limit there travel. (1st picture) it looks factory. Second picture shows another lock for simultaneous use of left side pedals. why if they’re both locked by welded rod?
On the right side we have the Left and Right brake and throttle. (3rd picture) it looks to me as though the left side has been isolated and locked out so as to only use right side pedals. Also if anyone can send a picture of the shifting pattern, that would help. I can move the gear lever no problem but can’t get it to freewheel in neutral. I can get the top drive shaft to spin freely. The transfer case shifts easily and is unlocked. I’ve got the wheels in the air to test.

Right hand pedals: Look at the letters in the pedal casting, by depressing a pedal the Reverse-O-Torc is engaged, depressing the pedal for the desired direction you want to travel.   First part of movement engages the Reverse-O-Torc, further movement of pedal increases engine RPM. The ROT does not have a clutch, a torque converter is attached to the engine flywheel.   It operates like the automatic trans in your automobile.   The main transmission does not have reverse position in the transmission shifter

Left hand pedals are for the brakes.   The swing lever locks both brakes together for travel speed.

Is it possible that the ‘stop’ under the brake pedals is to kick out the transmission when you step on the brake?

Thank you for your reply, it has been helpful. I didn’t realize how the reverse worked until your post. When I seen the shifting pattern it had me scratching my head as to where reverse was.
The stop under the left side brake levers allows very little travel. Do you know the distance of brake stroke?
