wanted: loader for 550

I would like to get a front loader with hydraulic bucket for my 550, the Oliver or white 1510 model would be choice, although not married to it. I would take third party if it is a lighter loader and fits without a lot of butchering. I Don't really want a heavier industrial model loader and realize it is hard to be picky about this.
 
Years ago I had a David Brown loader on my 550. It worked well but I do not remember the ID of it or if it had any. So there are some out there that don't take too much modification.

Keep everything on the front end lubed well, the weight will cause wear.
 
I've got a Freeman 100 with a front pump on my 550, and would like to sell it, but I'm in Washington and you're in Illinois (I assume), so the logistics might be a problem. Maybe you're up for a road trip. . .
 

this little allied loader was a good fit for the 550. Ran off the tractor hyd. Don't know what the model number was.

Thanks, I have seen those Freeman and as I recall they are of the lighter version, I will keep you in mind for a while, it may be a solution, just hard to get. will see. So did you add a hyd. pump to the bucket or do you think that was factory? It don't matter, just curious. I admit the 1510 would be my dream bucket. The one I found closer to me was butchered up and of much need of modifying. I hope patience is on my side to find one, if not a Freeman could be in my future.
 
Gotcha Butch and thank you for the PM info. Good candidate for my 550 unless something pops up closer to my Southern Illinois home.
