A friend of mine just got a nice looking Oliver 55 today. He wants to know if it is a 55 or a Super 55.. Serial number is 22970518.

There were no model 55 tractors. This a 1955 Super tractor.

According to the serial number, it's a 1955 Super 55---There were no straight 55's

I need to scan those pictures of the experimental 55s in HPOC magazine. There were straight 55s, just not for sale.
