Oliver 550 Hydraulic / Trans oil Question

I am changing my hydraulic fluid / filter and transmission oil for the first time on this tractor (serial #143 470-519). I have the factory aux. valve with a trip bucket on this tractor. If I understand correctly, I can un-hook a hose anywhere in the system to drain it with the tractor running @ idle. Is there a recommended spot to do this so as to minimize air getting into the system? I do have a disconnect at the line from the center port @ the valve which is where the manual says to drain. I'm guessing the previous owner used this as the drain spot. Just wondering what you guys thoughts.
Also, I plan to use a good 80W90 gear oil in the transmission and FVP AW32 Hydraulic oil from Menards. I was a little hesitant about using this cheap hydraulic oil (FVP). Anyone have experience with this stuff? Any opinions on anything would be
appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The cheapest oil today is better than the best oil produced when the tractor was new.

Fresh oil and filters is all it needs and is better than most received their whole lives.
