Engine Swap Journey to begin

I have purchased a Perkins engine sitting in a MF 510 combine recently and I am just waiting for the snow to melt away before I go to get the engine.(and CV-19 isolation restrictions to abate) I will have to pull the engine out and the other fellow will assist with his loader tractor. Are there any tricks to getting the engine out of the combine that I need to know about? Special tools or bent wrenches etc. that are needed?
 
It all depends if you are saving the combine parts or not. I took one out of a 750 years ago, the cutting torch is your friend.
 
The gent wants to part out the machine so he may not want it chopped up too badly plus I have seen more than one vehicle start fire when a torch is used to pull an engine. I can remember almost burning our high school down pulling a slant 6 out of a retired Dodge taxi that had been in a bit of fender bender. One engine mount was pinched. Sure seemed like a good idea at the time. I think we may have gotten a F on the engine removal module. LOL
 
I don't think there are very many bolts once you get all the other stuff out of the way. Two in the bell housing and probably two at the front mounts. Just getting to the two in the back might be the issue. I don't know,the one I swapped in to my 1850 was already out of the combine when I bought it.
 
Looks like I have at least a month to sort it out before it will be dry enough to pull it. Still got 2-3 feet of snow up here and March is feeling more like February than April. I am thinking the rad should come out first and there is some sort of a canister that sits towards the cab and low next to the engine. Maybe a hydraulic tank? That?s in the way for sure. I kind of wish he would sell me the whole thing but the clutch is a piled up and it?s dead where it sits.
