Tom: What do you have for sleeve stand out? We put the first shims in a 310 They even flew the bar to bore the counter bores to us. They were not in favor of the oo2 shims at all. Send me an e-mail. J.

Ya I wasn?t too crazy bout shimming either so took block over to sons place a couple hours later and .003 to .004. Started out with some spots around .001

I feel pretty darn lucky to have a boy with the equipment and the know how to fix up the old mans problems on a Sunday afternoon visit! (I did take him and his family out to lunch after we machined the block)

.003 to .0045

Thanks. I was at .003 or a bit above on the last two I did. Didn't require shims or machining.
