looking for help on my Oliver 80 tire nightmare! how to I go 38-inch tires? I have 40-inch junk cast-iron rims. the 80 has 2 and3/4 inch axels .

A friend of mine had the same problem. I told him to go to a tire shop and have them get 42"rims with the flange welded on the inside. I think JD used them. There's a bunch of holes in the flanges and, they lined up with the holes in the cast centers. Looks good and, I think most people think it's original.
