Found an old post on this site from 2016 titled 1850 Oliver brake seal that answers a lot of my questions from my previous question so it sounds like the seal can be replaced and the brake housing without taking the housing out however according to J Shwiebert you can?t take the brake housing out if you wanna replace that without removing the bull gears which I?m assuming you do that from the top or from the back by taking the PTO housing off mine are worn thin I?d like to try to find away then to resurface them while they?re on the tractor by maybe adding some weld? Thanks again to everybody for helping me out appreciate it

I use a small body shop dent remover. Slide hammer. Drill a few small holes thru the seal and use the dent puller. You need to move around the seal removing it a little at a time. Works great

Don't know anything about a 2-105, but I have replaced seals on a 1850 by drilling a small hole in the seal and screwing in a screw and pull the seal out with a wonder bar. Use a piece of pvc pipe for a driver and drive in a new seal, done. Chris
