Need Help From an Oliver Expert

Three Oliver Issues.
1. Oliver 77, I had to take the top off the transmission and am having trouble getting the gears lined up to correctly align. I seem to get the low range to line up but when I put the top on I have no hi range. It worked perfectly until I got a hold of it.....Any books or information you can recommend?

2. I need a new PTO Shaft assembly for the same tractor, any parts sources?

3. And last.....I have an Oliver 62W Wire tie baler and am needing a few parts, mostly for the wire twist mechanism.
Are there any parts sources that you can steer me to? Do the later model Oliver Wire Tie balers use the same parts as the 62W?

Theres lots of used parts in the midwest. Maibach tractor or korves are good parts sources. There are many. If you have a owners manual they tell quite a bit but shop manual is better. If you look in yesterday's tractor classifieds theres usually some being parted out on there.
Justin Meyer or Brian Lageese (sp) come to mind. Lageese has a website.
 
sure! If you dont find anything get back. Theres a few more I could look up on Facebook. Lots of stuff on ebay too.
 
Did you loose the centering ball bearings when you removed shifter.
Typically you pull the shifter to neutral, let it self center then move forward or backwards from high to low.
 
I have the tractor stuffed in my hay barn and have to feed hay to get to it so I will try the suggestions. Thank you everybody!
