770 radiator cap

I bought a 1962 770 diesel industrial tractor loader backhoe a few months ago. Is it supposed to have a pressurized cooling system? The radiator on this one isn't set up for the usual twist on cap. It came with a piece of hose shoved onto the radiator neck with a cap from a plastic jug plugging it.

Everything newer than Fleetlines were pressurized systems.

It looks like part of the old radiator cap is still on the filler neck. An online search should bring up the names of several parts suppliers who can supply a new cap.

Thanks for the reply. There isn't anything on the radiator that isn't soldered on. I got another reply on Tractor Talk that said the top piece of the neck is missing. That makes sense to me. Could it be that the radiator was de-pressurized to compensate for some other problem that only shows up under pressure?
