Correct paint colors for coop wagon gear

This is my first coop brand Implement and I?m trying to find out what the original paint colors were. The frame looks red, the wheels had no visible paint , just rust. Any help is appreciated. I?d guess the wagon is from the 1950?s.

CO-OP in the US sold CO-OP tractors and implements. I have several. The CO-OPs coming out of the Cockshutt plant in Brantford, Ontario were painted orange. I believe you can use a 1970s VW Pumpkin Orange and get very close.

As I recall from 60 years ago new co-op wagons had light green wheels. The rims had no hole in center , just a bulge that covered the wheel bearing cap. The rims were a little light as I recall some broken rim problems.

Michael Crowe,

Craig Berry is correct on the VW Pumpkin Orange color. I will check my notes on the green, it is a rather light and different green..................I believe the green is a "carry over" of the green that Ohio Cultivator Co. used before they sold their business to the National Farm Machinery Cooperative in the early 1940's

I found it!!! I have a 1990's paint formula for "Black Hawk GREEN" for your Co-op wagon. The paint number is DAR44616. I believe it is a PPG Paint number. I am happy to share this formula with you via e-mail, mail or FAX.

Please let me know.

Michael,
I did not receive your email. It is: [email protected]

I do not have a photo to mail to you. What I can do is mail you a NEW OLD STOCK "BLACK HAWK GREEN" part on "loan" that you can have scanned for "color match" at a automotive paint store.

Please let me know, email or phone 215-256-8651
