1655 overall length

Can anyone that has a 1655 (row crop, wide front) help me figure out the overall length? I'm curious what the length is from the tip of the grille to the end of the 3 point arms. I realize tires size affects this somewhat.

Also, does anyone know how much the swept-back front axle affects this dimension? It appears to reduce it greatly. Does anyone have wheelbase dimensions for the two configurations?

I should clarify that the row crop dimension is from the leading edge of the front tires to the end of the 3 point arms. I'm looking for the longest dimension of each configuration.

I have one in the shop now. I will measure tomorrow. This one is a wide front but not swept back. Arnie

Tractor data said 154.5 I measured with the arms up. This one I have may have tires other than OEM size.

The overall length varies with the size of the front tires. My row crop 1655 has 11L-16 tires on the front and I get an OAL of 166 or 167 inches. The owner's manual shows OAL as 160 and 7/8" with 6.00-16 front tires. The owners manual show OAL of 147-3/8" for Wheatland models, 140.5" for Row Crop Utility. I don't have those models for actual measurement.

Thanks guys. I wonder if the various wheelbases are published anywhere. I'm kinda wondering how much difference the underslung front axle makes. But I think with the underslug axle the leading edge of the tractor is the top of the grill, rather than the front of the front wheels like on a normal wide front.

From what I can tell in photos it appears that the 1655 normal row crop has a longer wheelbase than a JD 3020 (which I presume this model competed with). But I'm wondering if the underslung axle would bring the 1655 overall length (or wheelbase) to within spittin' distance of a 3020. I have room for a 3020-size tractor but nothing longer.

Does anyone know the difference in wheelbase between a 1655 wide front and a 1655 underslung front?
