Power Steering Hoses Oliver 1600

Does anyone have a source for the hydraulic hoses used on the power steering unit on the 1600. Also, does anyone know the type or brand of hydraulic fitting that are used on the power steering hoses.

About all you can do is have a hose made with a compression fitting and attach it to the existing steel tube.

I just worked on the oil cooler line on my 1600 steering unit. If they are all the same, the fittings are 3/8" inverted flare. The hydraulic shop didn't have anything for that style. They referred me to an auto parts store.

agreed...I had local hydraulic hose co. make up a hose to use in place of steel lines on my 1750. Keep it away from the chain coupler though...learned that the hard way.

Suggestion: While in there do all hoses, PLUS take plenty of pics to be sure you replace correctly.
