Oliver 1600 steering/cooler hydraulic oil leak

My Oliver 1600 is leaking hydraulic fluid from what appears to be the top of the steering hydra-motor. There is a hose that runs from a fitting there to the oil cooler at the front of the tractor. The original fitting is gone and in its place is one of those field attachable hydraulic fittings with the hydraulic hose clamped on with a hose clamp. The fitting is obviously not correct and forces the hose to bend extremely tight even if it wasn't leaking. I am sure the bending force on the hose is even worse when the steering is tilted.

Could anyone post a photo or link to what fitting I should use?

This is what the fitting looks like that was on there:

Missing the Ferrule and substitute a hose clamp. 3/8" male flared pipe fitting on the steering end.

I have brand new 3/8" low pressure hydraulic hose from Parker to run to the cooler and return hard line ready to go.

O. K. There was a difference between the early 1600 models and later ones. How about a tractor serial number to start with or send me an e-mail too.

I took some photos over lunch.

This is the source of the leak.

The entire group U1 " Steering Gears" portion of my service manual binder is missing. U2 and U3 are there. I expect everything I need to know is in that missing section? That's my luck.
