does anyone have information about adjustment of the draft control spring?

Might be a good idea to find a service manual. The only adjustment is the turnbuckle link next to and below the seat on the left side.

No adjustment for the spring, just attach the top link of your implement to the top hole for more sensitive or the bottom hole for less sensitive draft control. Pics from manual attached.

I may not have explained my problem well enough. I had the threaded end of the spring retainer apart to break it loose and clean and lubricate the threads. Do I just screw the bolt into the clamp as far as possible?
