How much "snap' does it take to engage the PTO clutch?

Depending on if you have the handle on the right or left side the amount of effort necessary to snap the handle over-center should be about 35-to 40 pounds.

the handle is on the right and I don't think it takes that much to sap over

There's a big plug in the top of the housing,takes a big Allen wrench I THINK (?). You have to take that out,reach down in through there,push a pin forward and turn the collar to tighten the clutch.
