Weight bracket

I have a Oliver 770 I am building into a pulling tractor gonna pull it in classes 4,500lb-6,000lb and I can decide if I want a front mounted or side mounted wiefght bracket up front I had a Oliver 880 with adorns mounted weight bracket and I mocked up a side one any ideas or pictures of front weight bracket.

First, find out the rule where you intend to pull. Whatever the max is in distance out front is the best answer to your question. The further out front you get the weight the more benefit you get from it and the more you have left to hang on the rear end. Per physics, the closer to the center of your tractor you hang you weights, the less you get out of it. Whatever weight you hang in the center of your rig, you're giving away 1/3 of it to the guys that go to the limit of the rules, front and back. BTDT the past 60 years. gm
 
Thank you for the input I?ve been pulling since I was 3 with my grandad,dad, and uncle I am now 16 and I have learned a lot but I have a lot left to Learn and this is the first tractor I am building by myself
