Oliver 1600 Industrial steering problem

Hi, I have an Oliver 1600 Industrial TLB. Sometimes the power steering squeals and the wheel won't turn. Then it goes away and the tractor steers fine. One time when I was lifting a stump with the loader bucket, the steering squealed and turned all the way to one side by itself. I don't know if it is the pump which is located on the right front side, below the hydraulic oil fill cap or some sort of malfunctioning valve at the steering wheel input shaft.
Thanks for any help, Hank

Not sure how to send a direct email,. but the serial#on the instrument panel support is unreadable,. so no help there. It is a 6 cyl. gas engine. Transmission is auto.(forward/reverse pedals). Has a shifter for different ranges, but only one range works. I think it is a 1966 1650 Industrial.

On the right side at the front corner of the engine there will be a number stamped in the block most likely 5 digits. That is the engine serial number Please post that number.

Thought I would post a few pictures:

Sorry, can't get photos to upload

Those are casting numbers for the engine block. The engine serial number is on the other side toward the front and is a stamped number. You have a phone number?

Sorry about that. I'm not up in RI now(where the TLB is). Have to try again end of June. I did actually look on the r.s. first, pretty carefully and didn't see anything, but I'll try again. Cell#: 215-813-3269
