Cockshutt 18 combine

I'd say not many out there. And painted red. I had a 74 picker with cockshutt tags, but was still green. Has seen 415 mowers with cockshutt tags that were also still green.

There was a green Cockshutt three bottom mounted plow that made the circuit of consignment sales and jockey lots here for a while. I don't know what became of it.

Look at the Product Identification tag, it says "Made in USA".   The model 18 was built from 1954 to 1962.   If I read the tag correctly it is Serial Number 221 008, that makes it a 1962 production. It has the Keystone tag, the Keystone tag replaced the shield shaped tag in 1962 (Keystone used on all 1600, 1800 & 1900 "B" & "C" series tractors.   Last 18 was Serial Number 221 055.

I hadn't even considered the shape of the tag. I asked one time if the late 500s went to a keystone tag and decals, but apparently they never did.
