trying to put injector pump back on and can not find timing mark. I see the pointer at the fly wheel but no mark comes into view. I have been cleaning as I creep around and seem to have been around a few times. I took out injector and have her on compression stroke but can not find a mark.

Take the plate off the bottom of the bell housing and back up the rotation at least1/4 turn and take some good solvent and clean the flywheel. Look for the TDC mark. Also see if the timing tape is still visiable. Then turn the engine in the direction of rotation till you find TDC. Questions? Post your e-mail. Start there.
