Finally finished, the plow that doesn't exist

Finally have the model 72 Oliver plow totally done. Tried every way I could think of to get info on this plow. Nobody had a clue. I was even told by some that no plow like this was ever made. Finally, I checked with Floyd County Museum. They sent me assembly-owners manual. Very helpful people. With the manual, I could see what the missing parts looked like. Had some made and made some myself. It's finally finished

Very nice! But I'm curious, is that a type of one way plow? Does it throw to the right with the right bottom going and then throw to the left with the left bottom coming back?

I have one on my 60. Its called a 61/62. Right side is a 61 and left is a 62.
I would guess your left is a 71. I have a parts book I think.

(quoted from post at 18:15:42 05/09/19) The assembly-owners manual that I have shows the whole plow as a model 72.
I may be wrong or it may be different on the 72. I'm looking for a 61/62 0wners manual if you come by one. I'm going to see what I have. Been awhile since i looked at it.

By pulling the latched, you can make one side or the other drop. If you pull both latches, both sides can drop at the same time. The idea if this type of plow is, you drop one side and start on one end of the field. When you get to the other end, you turn around and drop the tire on the other side of the tractor in the furrow and also drop the plow on that side. You keep alternating plows until you get across the field. When you're across the field, you have no dead furrows

Excellent work, looks really good. I've always wanted to find one for my 60 never realized they made a larger one for the 70.

I looked this morning. I have a manual
for a one way model 61 and two way model
62. Same manual. Interesred?

Wonder if it would work on a 77 if it had power lift instead of hydraulics? Fleetines still had pipe frame holes.

Wanted to tell you I can't help much on the plow maybe only seeing one of those in person. But very nice looking tractor and plow enjoyed seeing it.

I think it would be close and maybe an easy fit. Unlike the model 1172 which attached to the axle, the 72 only attaches to the rear implement hole pipe and the upper and lower drawbar attaching areas.

I would be interested in your manual if it hasn't been claimed.
