the 2-85 would have been similar to the 1850 and the 2-105 would have been essentially the same as both of them with the addition of a turbo.

1855. The 1850 had the old open center hydraulics and mechanical brakes. The 2-85 and 2-105 were an 1855 with a Perkins engine. The 2-88 and 2-110 were upgraded and had the modular cab instead of a cab that just sat down over the dash.

They were a very good reliable tractor. It was our big tractor for many years doing all the field work and then when we got bigger tractors then it did all the baling. Never had any issues with it and as far as I know the farm that bought it still uses it to this day on a feed wagon.

I've got to back up a step here. They were based on the 1855,but in the line up horsepower wise they would have been about the same as a 1755. Like's been said, the 2-105 had a turbo. That made them closer to the 1955 power wise, but they were still based off the 1855,just with a Perkins engine instead of an Oliver/Waukesha.

As far as how good were they? They were a great tractor. Sweetest haying and planting tractor you'll ever find.

Both had a turbo, the 19 just had a larger turbo and the fuel turned up if I'm not mistaken. I'm just talking horsepower when I say "replaced". They shot right over anything in the 90s horsepower and went from 85 to 105 with the 2-85 and 2-105.

he is asking 3,500 and has engine knock, didn't know how envolved this could be working on a Perkins engine
