18-28 rear wheel

I?m trying to remove rear wheel on 18-28 to install belt pulley. I removed center bolt and I?m backing out the other 4 bolts that have an inside collar. Looks to me like the whole splined axle is coming with it. Is this right or am I missing something. Thanks, Mark

Mine just has a bolt in the center of the axle with a large washer that holds the wheel on. Did you try turning the center bolt out about a half an inch and the drive the tractor around for a while making tight turns in both directions?

That looks nothing like mine. Is it an Oliver wheel or an after market

That looks like a hub for an 80 rowcrop. Those 4 bolts need to be loose and then put the big bolt back in and let it loose for a turn and then drive it as was mentioned.
