Old guy that we bought tractor
from had put in a new Oliver gauge
but didn't put the plug in the
block. It's all coiled up under
the dash. The old line is just
broke off near the block. I can't
get the nut loose to put new probe
in. Any trips? I have shot it 10-
12 times with Freeall. Still ain't
moving. Afraid to use too big a
breaker bar.......

Is the old one brass or steel?? If steel run it till good and warm and use a 6 sided socket and try it. Another way that may work is a good tap with a hammer which is an old trick for bleeding brakes when the bleeder will not open up

There is always a chance of that but as long as you do not get crazy you should be ok

A trick I was taught is to take a punch or a blunt chisel and tap down on the nut. This thins the ring on the copper probe and makes it easier to remove. Steve
