I've just purchased parts to repair the throw out bearing in an Oliver 1855 Diesel. The release bearing does not have a press fit with the bearing carrier which seems wrong. Bad parts or is it supposed to be a slip fit? The carrier has about a 3/16" long larger step on the OD where the bearing goes but it just slips on...
