Can. Cockshutt 550

Hi. I replaced the transmission top cover gasket on my 550 and when I replaced the shift lever I can only get it into the lower range gears. I can get it into the upper position, but no neutral swing and no gears. What did I do wrong? Thanks DTK.

My guess is when you put the shifter back in, you missed the high-low shift fork. The shifter ball is on one side or the other of that rail instead of in the notch.

hanks, found the problem,I had the center shifter rail in wrong groove on sliding gear. Thanks for the help. DTK
