Trying to source a replacement hydraulic pump for my 1550. Parts book research tells me I have 161858AS. Agco says NLA, can't seem to find anything online. One of the listings I found said, "If old pump has bolt-on cast iron suction discharge fitting with external relief valve this pump will not fit." Bummer, because that's what I have (see pics). Any ideas?

The gaskets look similar to the hydrostat charge pump gaskets on our White 8700 combine. Easy to take apart and replace. The combine's shaft is smooth and has a keyway to accommodate a pulley.

Contact Tim Smith in Canton, Ohio. Our 1550's pump wore out. He got us a pump and accessories to install it. If I remember correctly, it was the same pump for a 1650 and we had to replace the drive gear to use it plus new gaskets. Worked great. Plenty of pressure and flow now.
Good luck!

I've always wondered about that. So if mine was to go bad,I could take the drive gear out of the 1600 parts tractor I have here and put a 1600-1950 pump in it?

Have you taken the pump apart to inspect. Mine was only pushing 500 psi. I took it apart and it was just within spec for wear. I took it to a hydraulic shop and the dude said it looked OK but hand-turned easy, should be more resistance. He opened it up and pulled out the bronze plate. The seals behind it were shot. New seals and it was fine.
