throttle was moved onto the steering

Oliver had a mod kit to relocate the throttle to the steering column for the late model 70s with the three gear engines., I don't believe the kit was compatible with the older "five gear" engines.

I own a 39...
It has throttle on the colume...i have not got into the engine to see which motor it has...3 or 5 gear

I have a 43 with the throttle on the steering column.

I wondered about that. I know a guy who has one with a live hydraulic system on it. He said the tank sits over the cultivator lift and he had to put a column throttle on it.
