Splitting Stands

Here are some pictures of the splitting stands I just made. They will fit Oliver or JD. I will make an adapter plate so they fit IH.

Haven't decided on color yet. Oliver green would look good. Are you ready for some tractor riding this summer after this crappy winter?

A big YES on rides this year, already have the hotel rooms saved for the Tractor Cruise five day ride in June that I had to miss last year. I might even get more miles on the 560 that the 3,210 it got on it last year. You have the 1655 ready??

Nice work, looks good and stable! A lot nicer than mine! But mine seams to get modified for the next tractor I split. AC 200, 4020, 966, CA Allis, Ford 5000, Super C Farmall?

Looks like a real nice setup. I have to remember this setup for when I split my dads 2010. I take it the legs that bolt to tractor are adjusted by threaded rod by turning the nut on top?

Help me here. Why would you need splitting stands for an Oliver? Olivers back into the 60's had a front engine tub. Now if you were replacing, removing or repairing the tub itself something to keep the rear of the tractor upright.

To get to the transfer drive on a MFWD tractor you have to move the front tub ahead from the rear section. I am going to try and move the tub and motor ahead a bit to get to the transfer drive without pulling the motor.
