Has anyone recently bought or replaced either of these? I need both for my 1850, just wondering if I should try to get both from Perkins direct or find the water pump, thremostat, and gaskets from someplace aftermarket?

I'm thinking the only one of those I ever bought was an AGCO reman. I cutting hay and needed it today and Shawne had one on the shelf.

Make sure you get the casting number off of the old pump and match it to the rebuilt one. Perkins used about 3 different pumps. I have found any rebuilder is ok just make sure you get the right one.

Contact to www.agpartsltd.com and see who the nearest dealer they have. May have one ready, if it one R&R few day and get old pack.

Ok I'll keep you in mind. I think I am going to pull the water pump out and if the impeller looks good I am going to take it apart and rebuild it myself with new bearings and seals. The bearings are loud and have some play that's why I want to change it. It is not leaking.
