Looks like you wound those guys up on the tractor talk 70 hp thread. That parts guy you described sounds like a lot of them around me back when!! I have seen some tempers in my time. That thread was starting to get hostile.
 
I'm telling you what,I gave an example of something that didn't use common off the shelf generic parts and DEERE jumped off the page. It caused somebody to see red,take it personel and act like I kicked their dog. If I'd said it was a New Holland,Gehl,Meyer or anything else,it would have slid right by unnoticed. Might as well have been talking politics. LOL
 
Yes it is getting tougher anything you say today seems to offend someone. Also they cannot just let it eine and move on. People cannot take a joke of any kind either.

I figure a fella has several bad experiences with a certain brands dealer then he tends to be happy to pass along those bad feelings.
