Oliver Green.....

If you go on the Oliver Herritage website, Sherry has a list of Oliver paint codes from a few different paint manufacturers. I can also get you the code for Dupont Imron when I get home. Also depends on what model and year tractor you are painting.

People can do as they choose but I would not buy that junk paint from TSC. I tried to use it years ago and the paint was terrible. The primer needed 2-3 days to dry then it still galled on the DA sander pad. Buy an automotive paint or go to your local Agco dealer for Oliver green.

Well I cannot help you with the paint code for your tractor. I have ones for the newer 4digit tractors. I believe the listing on Oliver Heritage has a paint code for the older models such as yours. I would take that code to a automotive paint supplier and have them cross it. They can then mix you a small sample to see if you like the color.
As for what type of paint to use that's a loaded question! And I am no professional painter. I have a few good friends that know what to use and how to do it they helped me thru it and showed me. Ask around to some auto body shops or places that paint equipment for advice.

Well, Martin Senour auto/enamel paints now run through Napa, so you may want to call your local Napa or check them out in person. I'm checking into Dupont/PPG equivalents, etc.
