Great board you have here! Have an 1800C diesel and getting oil floating to top of coolant in radiator. Flushed it out and keeps coming back after some time. Engine was majored about about 20 yrs and 1200 hrs ago and no issues until recently. No coolant in crank case. Runs like new. Thanks guys!

Well I have not heard that problem in a few years! You may not believe my answer either but the problem is that oil leaking past the main bearings is being pushed past the cylinder sealing O-rings.

hat defies logic. Coolant is under pressure,..crankcase is not.
I think it is a head gasket issue at the hollow head bolt that supplies oil to the valve rockers.

An Oliver guy told me that head gasket problems OR liner O-rings would cause it. Was leery of the o-ring theory, but as J. Schwiebert mentioned, could be possible. Thanks for your reply!

(quoted from post at 14:59:16 02/10/19) how hard do you use it and how far is the walk home if it causes a problem?
Gary..not as hard as we used to. Mainly mixer mill and cutting/baling.
