Oliver 107 Rake

Has anyone ever transported an Oliver 107 Rake a large distance? What is the best way to put one on a trailer? pictures would be awsome

We've loaded a lot of implements on trailers with a forklift, equipment carriers, even a large cherry picker once. We've even winched them on when they're narrow enough. We just did an old grain drill with a forklift, but you have to be careful where you strap/chain your lift points. Extended forks help when using a forklift. We've also used the 'back the trailer/pull it alongside a deck-level ground surface' (think backing it into a dry ditch) and pulling stuff on. Good luck.

I don't have any pictures but I'll describe what I did about 5 years ago when I picked up a 107 rake.
I used a flat bed truck, lifted the rake with loader with the rake wheels along driver side of flat bed. The tongue then hung over the other side by about 3 feet. With the rake wheels tied down and blocked, the loader lifted the tongue upwards and I put the stakes into the stake pockets along the passenger-side of the truck to support the tongue about 3 feet above the deck. More straps kept the load solidly placed.
Hope that helps.
