Part Cross for 1750

Hi:

I am in need of replacing the outer tie rod on my 1750 tractor. Serial number 198 209 427. Looking at the agco parts books I located 2 part numbers. One has right hand thread and one has left hand thread.

The one I want is the left hand thread and has 107075AS for a part number. Description from agco is “Socket (Left Hand Thread) (Includes 105658-A Cover And 915033 Nut)” and this seems to match the one I took off. I have access to local auto parts stores but they cannot find a cross to the agco part number.

Did Cockshutt manufacture there own parts or is there a generic number that they can use?

Contact Korves Oliver that have the
complete new tie rod assembly's in stock.
For both style front ends depending on if
your wishbone is on top or bottom of axle
tube. Not to bad in price either,
probably expensive thru agco for just the
putter your looking for.

If he has a Cockshutt he probably has a non adjustable standard front axle. Those row crop wide fronts had more than one size of tie rods because the early ones were failing because of the tanks farmers mounted on the sides.

Hi:

Thanks for the replies. I do not do online purchases, so I am looking for other options. Also, the shipping to me is usually expensive. So, if I can find a local match it would work much better for me.

Yes, the front axel is solid. The parts page says Wheatland axel.

The ends have two different sizes where they go in the steering arms too. There's a 5/8 and a 3/4 on the tapered part.

Hi:

Yes rrlund the tapered part is 3/4 inch and the threaded shaft iw 3 and 5/8 inch long to where the grease nipple would have been.

Larry H, I only need the outer tie rod. The inner tie rod and shaft are fine.
