Loader Interchange

I am looking for a later model White (gray color) to replace a very tired 1850 Oliver gas. I want to know which models would the loader be a direct fit on? Like to be in the same weight class and HP. Thanks..

2-85 and 2-105 will have a little bit wider front tub due to the Perkins engines, where as your 1850 gas is a waukesha. The spot where the loader bolts
on might be the same measurement I don't know, a guy would just have to measure one. Where does your loader bolt on, sides or front and back?

I don't know what models, but you'll have to use a loader that bolts to the side pads and not to the front of the frame. The 1850 has a flat front with bolt holes, but the Whites have that rounded weight bracket built in.

Oops, he said gas. I need to read better.
Would a 2-70 frame be the same width as 1850 G?
Would be quite a step down in both weight and hp though

I've never been close to the bigger Whites. But, on the 2-70 I have, the built-in weight on the front has a front surface that is flat vertically. It's not straight side-to-side, it angles from the corners to make a mild point in the middle. There are two bolt holes on each end of the weight, but they're not spaced the same as the four digit Olivers. For example, the front loader bracket on my 1655 wouldn't fit either shapewise or bolt spacing. But I can look at the 2-70 and visualize a bracket made to bolt right on. When I bought the loader for the 1655, the dealer asked what model tractor it was going on so they could get the correct mounting brackets, so I wouldn't be surprised if they made a front anchor for the 2-70. Would there be any other White models that have that 2-70 style front weight?

They're all rounded like that, the 2-85,88,105,110,135,155 etc. They don't have any bolt holes at all though. Any loader bracket would have to bolt entirely to the side pads.

Had a 1610 loader several years ago, first tractor that wore it was a 1600 gas, 2nd tractor 2-85 white. The tubes that went to the rear axle housing were
cut off right behind the vertical piece (where the booms went up )flipped 1/2 turn welded back on, had to cut the lower step off the battery box . The
loader was mounted as far forward as possible, think had to clip a little off the top of the part with all the bolt holes. Wasn?t pretty, but handled 500 -800
big bales a year for several years from 510 jd baler.
Hope this helps, I think the 1610 was a Swartz loader.
