True Oliver 2155 photo

Don't know how many of you Oliver people do facebook. There is a great picture and postings of what an Oliver 2155 should have been and look like. It is on the Oliver White discussion group.

Hey would one of you guys post that on here, I'm not on Facebook and don't plan to ever be. I would appreciate it and I'm sure others would to.

Ok so that must be the " New design " Oliver not a 2155 that is really a Minneapolis moline 1350. I didn't know that was the number they planned on using.

What engine would that have been then Larry? Was that transmission and rear end like the 2050 and 2150 or more like the new White 2-135 and 2-155?

Oliver kid is rite about the picture. With that configuration it would of had a pretty slow road gear I think, with the rpms of the herc at 2400. I think the cats were 2800.

So...pretty much a 2150 with a 2255 rear end? I wonder what the advantage would be over a straight 2150?

I am by no ways an expert on this, but it would of had closed center hydraulics, Char Lyn style power steering, new style 55 series dash, Hydraulic brakes and pto. I think they could of made this motor with as much HP as a 2255 but would have the lugging power of an in line six. I am not that familiar with the White 135-155 models but everything I have read or heard about them has been very good. It would be like a 155 but have out board planetary's. One thing about it, a sweet looking tractor. If I had money to burn, unfortunately I don't I sure would try to build one. Always thought the 2255's were as nice as looking tractor ever built but after seeing this 2155 picture it would be a toss up.
