770 hydraulic question

Today I was moving some equipment using my 770. The field cultivator was a pretty heavy lift, but it did it. This tractor has the power traction hitch, and when the cylinder on the field cultivator was fully extended, the hitch started to raise. The bypass valve never buzzed the hitch just began to slowly raise. I never touched the right hand lever. Is it possible for hyd oil to transfer from one hyd circuit to the other? Where should I start? Thanks guys
