Oliver 77 skirts

I'm starting to agree with my wife,it looks great without em! Lol I've seen pullers with no louvers in the side panels, good? Bad? Indifferent?

Theres some guys in the classifieds parting them all the time. Might check there. I see them on Facebook at times too. Some of the same guys. If your not planning on restoring I would look for decent used but if you're going to restore I would get new.

I like the way they look with them on. The guy I worked for as a kid had one that he put a "super 77" sleeve and piston kit in, which gave it a little more go. It didn't get hot doing field work, but when we had it on the blower it would get warm. He made up a U shaped bar so we could flip the curtains up and put the bar over them to keep them open

Oliver guys are pretty forgiving, not like the other green. If you like it without,it's your tractor. If you're happy with giving $150 for those and painting them with a brush to give it a more original appearance, nobody will condemn you for that either.

I learned a lesson from toy collecting. Those who'd been in it a while said "collect what you like". I did,but I bought a lot of other stuff too, trying to have a big collection. It got frustrating and overwhelming until it wasn't fun anymore. Don't make that mistake with these antique tractors.
