Will a 354 Perkins engine bolt up to an 1855 with a gas engine, or will an adapter plate be required?

Thanks, then the footprint of the 354 Perkins is too large to fit into the frame, correct?

It mounts different than the Waukeshas. It wont catch the mounting pads in a 310 frame. You will need a Perkins frame from an 1850 or a
Perkins powered White.

If you want to convert to a diesel you can put in a J*** D**** combine engine (329? 359?) was done by a YT'er who will go nameless unless he wants to fess up.

Wouldn't the 1855 gas tractor be a bit rare? May be
worth more as is.
