Hey Ian you said you had a bunch of service bulletins for this 4-150. We are still trying to figure out exactly what is going on with the updates to this quill shaft support bearing. I have a copy of the 4-150/180 design and manufacturing refinements book and according to it most of the updates should be covered in a bulletin nuber GE-22-XXX. I dont have the last three digits because apparently at the time of publication for this update book in 1976 they werent done writing the service bulletin. 2 other bulletins is mentions are number C-430-702 and C-430-734. Was wondering if you had any of these in your stash?

I did dig out the bulletins I have here at the house. I must have pitched anything that didn't apply to what units I still had. There it lots about 2-150 over-under and hydraulics, but nothing about the quill shaft support. I will look some more as I think I had some Micro-fiche as well but don't see them now. The reason I remember that there were bulletins is that we had a customer in the mid 80's who has his 4-150 completely gone through upper and lower drive shafts, upper and lower hinge and steering, over under.
