I need some help. What is the difference between engine horsepower and PTO horsepower. If an
implement requires 80 horsepower (discbine) are they meaning needs a tractor with 80 engine hp or
80 PTO hp? Some tractors have 90 engine hp, but only 80 PTO hp according to Tractor Data...

Thanks

Engine HP is at the crankshaft,PTO is after it's gone thru the gearing which drops the total to the output shaft.Similar to autos where HP to the crank shaft and HP to the wheels varies a lot.

It goes Engine HP>PTO HP>Drawbar HP

If you have an implement running off the PTO requiring 80 hp, you should have at least an 80 HP PTO output, if not a bit more.
