pertronix ignition 1655

Putting a pertronix ignition in my 1655 with a mallory distributor. The magnet sleeve is lose on the point cam. Is this normal? Do you use the rotor spacer ring? Thanks.

never put one on that was loose on the cam , I don't think you have the right one . put a picture of that spacer ring and magnet sleeve on a post .

I have never posted pictures, will see if my step son or grandson can do that for me. Have more problems with the mallory distributor. The centrifugal advance is very wore. I put this in new and it only has 1000 to 1500 hours on it. Don't know if parts are still available for it.
